Bloom & Oak

This Marietta, Georgia powder room and custom mud hall demonstrate how thoughtful residential interior design can bring both personality and practical function to hardworking spaces. Designed for a young family, these rooms pair botanical pattern and color with custom millwork and details intended to stand up to everyday use.

In the powder room, a custom white oak vanity anchors the design, while a concealed pull-out step stool makes the room more functional for the homeowners’ children without compromising its polished appearance. The mud hall features custom-designed, built-in cabinetry with a library ladder, all color-drenched in a single hue, so the everyday clutter of family life disappears behind closed doors. The result is a beautiful transition from the home’s side entrance into the kitchen and living areas.
